First Monday/month
*hosted by Barb Morrow, at Evergreen UU Fellowship
Second Monday/month
*hosted by Jim and Jan Anderson, at their home in Snohomish
Newcomers and drop-ins welcome. Voluntary Simplicity suggests that our American experience, our seeking and striving for affluence, material possessions and status, is not fulfilling – that we’re looking for happiness in the wrong way. Find support/encouragement in learning to live a more authentically meaningful life. Look at simple ways, small steps, that can help us live more in accord with what brings us joy.
Big Questions is Suspended Indefinitely
Desmond & Judy Smith have hosted 10 years of more-or-less continual meetings of the discussion group Big Questions, which is now being suspended for the 2009-2010 church year. The Big Questions website is down and will remain down. Desmond encourages everyone "to continue to read things of a philosophical nature, think deeply, and question on your own."
