Unitarian Universalist Principles for Children
We Believe...
* that every person is important
* in helping to make fair rules.
* that our church is a friendly place where we help each other to grow in understanding.
* in searching for what is right and true.
* in freedom of opinion and the right to vote.
* in trying to live peacefully and fairly with all people.
* in caring for our planet Earth.
At Evergreen
We believe...
that one of the most important groups we serve as a UU congregation is our children and youth.
Our religious education environment invites children, adolescents and teenagers to learn positive values and to seek their own answers to life’s questions.
Ministry for and with children and youth is coordinated by Pam Gerke, our Director of Lifelong Learning, overseen by our Religious Education Committee, and run by a volunteer staff of caring and creative teachers and advisors.
