Involvement in Self Governance
Evergreen Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is governed by its voting members in accordance with Bylaws. The membership as a whole meets at least once each year to approve the next year's budget, elect new Board members and re-visit their Mission and Bylaws as needed. A seven member Board of Trustees is responsible to the members for the effective administration of the Fellowship's daily activities. This is accomplished through the efforts of a professional Ministerial Team and ten standing committees and their subcommittees. These committees are staffed by volunteers. The Organizational Chart shows this structure of communication. The Board of Trustees is elected by the voting members of the Fellowship from among candidates identified by the Nominating Committee. The President of the Board serves a three-year term, serving first as Vice President, then as President, and serving as Past-President in the third year. All other Board members are elected to two-year terms.

Opportunities for Social Action and Community Involvement
There are several avenues for members interested in social action, including involvement on the local level, and with the branch of the Unitarian Universalist Association that supports work of the United Nations.
