Evergreen Fellowship Sunday Morning
Sunday Service
The Sunday service begins at 10:30am though people gather and greet each other before the service. The children and youth are present for the opening of the service and a Story for All Ages, except for the first Sunday of each month when they have a Worship Service downstairs in the Fireside Room. Then they go to their classrooms as part of the Religious Education Program.
Current Month Sunday Sermons
The service includes readings from many spiritual sources and references to our UU Principles and Values. Choir, piano, harpsichord, organ and small singing groups offer a variety of music, and we sing two or three hymns together. The sermon is usually about twenty minutes, covering topics of spiritual interest. See Recent Sermons for examples of topics. After the sermon, people join in fellowship downstairs in Beaman Hall for Coffee Hour.
Our goal is to create a religious community that respects and encourages each person's spiritual development. We do not adhere to any specific dogma or creed.
Unitarian Universalism is an association of faith communities that believes spiritual inspiration may come from different sources. Our Sunday morning worship combines music, spoken word, and prayer.
